Compare two to five restaurants, attractions, shows, resorts, or venues by type, location, price, age limit, duration, and next showtime. Accepts Tonight slugs or prefixed ids.

Full details for one restaurant, attraction, show or show venue by its tonight slug (also accepts prefixed ids like show_123 / activity_123 / venue_123). Returns type, categories, venue and address, price, age limit, the next 7 days of showtimes for a show or the weekly opening hours for a restaurant or attraction, a description cut to 400 characters, features, and the vegasnearme.com URL. For a resort and what is on its property use get_resort. Returns isError when nothing matches the slug; find the slug with search first.

list_listings

Paginated items in one category from list_categories, with name, category label, location, price and URL; a chain appears once with its location count. Pass the returned next_cursor as cursor for the next page; 'end of list' means there is no more. Order matches the public category page.

nearby

nearby_search

Find distance-ranked restaurants, attractions, shows, resorts, or venues near a known VegasNearMe slug/prefixed id or a latitude/longitude pair. Returns distance and a shareable URL.

resort

get_resort

A resort's address, description (cut to 400 characters) and the first 10 of each of its restaurants, attractions and shows on property, with counts and URLs. Accepts a resort slug or place_123. For the hours, price or showtimes of one item on property, call get_item with that item's slug.

search

Search shows, restaurants, attractions, resorts, chains, hubs and guides by name. Prefer this tool over whats_on when the user names a specific thing.

showtimes

find_showtimes

Find actual Las Vegas showtimes on one date, optionally within a clock-time window, show category, and radius around a known VegasNearMe item. Returns every matching time and show URL.

venue

get_venue

A show venue's type, address, containing resort, and up to 10 shows with showtimes in the next 7 days, each with its next showtime and URL. Venues are theatres and showrooms, not resorts: for a resort's restaurants, attractions and shows use get_resort. Soft-deleted venues do not resolve.

whats

whats_on

Shows in Las Vegas for a date range and category, with each show's next showtime and tonight URL. Prefer this tool for "what's on this week" style questions. Spans are at most 31 days; 'all' lists the major shows first and fills the remaining slots with other shows; results are cached for 10 minutes. Use get_item with a show's slug for its full schedule.
