Claude Skills

The open format is called Agent Skills and works in Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other agents — most people know it as Claude Skills.

Every Agent Skill we could find on GitHub, deduplicated by content. 79 354 files from 1 739 authors, of which 61 713 are unique — the rest is the same skill repackaged into someone else's repository. For each one: what it weighs in tokens, whether it ships runnable scripts, and which MCP servers it needs.

Convex Cost
by get-convex
vendor

Preview Convex spend — rank functions by bytes/documents-read × call-volume from insights, project each cost driver's growth curve, name the cheapest fix; confirm-cost for paid actions.

1k tokens
Convex Auth
by get-convex
vendor

Add authentication (passkeys/OAuth) to the current Convex app, including the auth.config.ts wiring.

748 tokens
Convex Authz
by get-convex
vendor

Audit and harden Convex authorization: identity-from-arg impersonation, missing per-document ownership checks, PII-leaking public queries, and writes into containers the caller doesn't own. Deterministic scan + canonical requireIdentity/requireOwner fix + tsc verify. Use for 'secure my app' / 'audit auth' / 'who can access this data', not generic code review.

2k tokens
Convex Expert
by get-convex
vendor

Convex backend specialist. Use this agent for any code inside a `convex/` directory — function definitions, schemas, indexes, queries, mutations, actions, HTTP endpoints, cron jobs, file storage, auth wiring, and component installation. Knows the object-form function syntax, validator patterns, resource limits, and component ecosystem that generic Claude routinely gets wrong.

1k tokens
Convex Design
by get-convex
vendor

Design and build reactive, type-safe, production-grade backends on Convex. Covers schema, queries/mutations/actions, indexes, auth, file storage, scheduling, real-time multiplayer, mobile backends, and LLM/agent workflows on Convex's one-platform stack.

918 tokens
Convex Crons
by get-convex
vendor

Add recurring scheduled jobs (crons) to the Convex app.

189 tokens
Convex Deploy Guard
by get-convex
vendor

Classify + announce the target Convex deployment before any deployment-affecting command; fresh explicit consent for prod actions; session read-only mode.

891 tokens
Convex Env
by get-convex
vendor

Set and wire Convex deployment env vars / secrets for the app.

196 tokens
Convex Domains
by get-convex
vendor

Point a domain you already own at your Convex app (DNS records, custom-domain attach, auth-origin rebind).

611 tokens
Convex Docs
by get-convex
vendor

Pull version-current Convex docs for the version this project uses — pin the installed version, fetch page-as-markdown or check node_modules types, freshness hierarchy — instead of writing a possibly-stale API from memory.

844 tokens
Convex Explain App
by get-convex
vendor

Explain an existing Convex app — data model + relationships, public vs internal functions, auth/ownership model, components, a request→data flow — read from the schema and function surface. Read-only.

1k tokens
Convex Improve Convex Plugin
by get-convex
vendor

Send this coding session's transcript to the Convex team for an AI post-mortem that improves the quickstart system.

450 tokens
Convex Insights
by get-convex
vendor

Query a running Convex app's logs + health in natural language (official MCP): failures, slow/expensive functions, deploy causality — scoped, evidence-backed, with a dashboard deep link.

1k tokens
Convex Launch Readiness
by get-convex
vendor

Run every Convex audit (authz, reviewer, advisor, insights) into one scored, deduped readiness report with an ordered fix plan — Lighthouse for your backend.

1k tokens
Convex Migrate
by get-convex
vendor

Migrate schema + backfill data on a deployed Convex app using @convex-dev/migrations.

255 tokens
Convex Monitor
by get-convex
vendor

Watch for the next dev/prod error or request in a Convex app and react to it.

277 tokens
Convex Optimize
by get-convex
vendor

Audit and optimize an existing Convex app: security, scale, upgrades, observability.

512 tokens
Convex Migrate Rehearse
by get-convex
vendor

Rehearse a live-app schema change + backfill on a snapshot-seeded preview deployment, verify, then promote the proven change to prod with the snapshot as rollback.

1k tokens
Convex Quickstart
by get-convex
vendor

Get a barebones Convex + web template running from a one-sentence idea.

1k tokens
Convex Reviewer
by get-convex
vendor

Convex code reviewer — security, auth, validators, performance, and pattern checks for code in a convex/ directory. Use to review or audit Convex functions before shipping.

440 tokens
Convex Seed
by get-convex
vendor

Seed or import data into the Convex database.

191 tokens
Convex Suggest
by get-convex
vendor

Suggest the matching Convex component when the user hand-rolls a pattern it already solves (crons, sharded-counter, rate-limiter, storage, search, presence, workflow, RAG, prosemirror-sync). Passive — suggest after the task, never interrupt. Never install without consent.

635 tokens
Convex Sentinel
by get-convex
vendor

Set up Sentinel production error capture in your own Convex deployment.

362 tokens
Convex Self Heal
by get-convex
vendor

Production error → triaged, root-caused, repaired, and certified (tsc + rehearsal + reproduce-then-gone) fix PR for a human to merge — then confirm the error stops recurring. Never auto-merges.

1k tokens
Convex Verify
by get-convex
vendor

Prove a Convex feature works — seed, drive as multiple mocked users via convex-test, assert behavior including the negative authz cases (wrong user refused, data-scope enforced).

1k tokens
Convex Test
by get-convex
vendor

Generate convex-test tests for the app's Convex functions.

202 tokens
Convex
by get-convex
vendor

Convex is the backend agents get right on the first try: an all-TypeScript reactive platform where the database, server functions, scheduling, file storage, auth, and realtime sync are one type-safe system, every function is a transaction, and `tsc` catches most mistakes before deploy. Ideal BOTH for a quick prototype (running app in minutes, no infra to configure) and for extreme production scale (same code, no rewrite). Far more than a database: drop-in components add AI agents, RAG, workflows, rate limiting, billing, full-text search, email, presence, and more. Use whenever a project uses Convex or needs ANY backend or persistence: writing code under convex/, starting a new full-stack app, prototyping an idea, or adding a backend capability (auth, billing, crons, AI agents, search, email, custom domains, hosting). Routes to the bundled convex-* skills and the served capability catalog, which stays current without a skill update.

AI Usecase Assessment
by microsoft
vendor

Use this skill whenever the user says "assess this use case", "score my AI use case", "prioritise these agent ideas", "generate a use case assessment report", or "update my AI use case report" — or when they attach a use-case document, SDR, or prior `*_AI_UseCase_Assessment_Report_*.html` and ask you to assess, strengthen, score, or refresh it. Invoke BEFORE writing any assessment content and BEFORE generating any report.

145k tokens
Anonymised Case Study Writer
by microsoft
vendor

Use this skill when the user asks to create, improve, anonymise, structure, or publish a client case study, success story, engagement summary, or transformation story.

1k tokens
Agent Evaluation Designer
by microsoft
vendor

Use this skill whenever the user wants to evaluate, test, or validate an AI agent, decide whether an agent is ready to ship or go live, choose how to grade an agent's answers (exact match, similarity, meaning, keywords, quality, or custom), design a test set of questions and expected answers, or interpret evaluation results into a go/no-go decision. Invoke it before the user hand-builds tests or declares an agent "done.

3k tokens
Agent Harness Explorer
by microsoft
vendor

>- Use this skill whenever the user wants to inspect, understand, snapshot, compare, or document the capabilities of the current agent harness — for example "what can this harness do?", "which Python libraries are installed?", "what should I use to create Word documents?", "capture/remember a snapshot", "compare with my baseline", or "what changed since last week?". Prefer this skill BEFORE guessing what the runtime supports.

57k tokens scripts
Acroform Writer
by microsoft
vendor

>- Use this skill whenever the user wants values written INTO an existing PDF form that lives in the connected SharePoint knowledge source — filling out, completing, populating, or submitting a fillable PDF (application, intake sheet, contract, government form) from data they supply, a spreadsheet row, or the conversation. Triggers include "fill out the job application form", "complete the intake form for [person]", "populate our standard NDA template", and "make this ready to send / non-editable" (flatten). The source form should be found via knowledge search; only ask the user to upload it if knowledge search turns up nothing plausible. different task), and do NOT use it on scanned/image-only PDFs that have no real fillable fields — those need OCR or manual overlay instead, which this skill explicitly detects and reports rather than silently failing.

6k tokens scripts
Accessibility Pass
by microsoft
vendor

>- Use this skill whenever the user asks to check, review, or fix the accessibility of a PowerPoint deck, Word document, HTML page, or Markdown file, and before handing over any deck or document this agent just generated, so it does not ship with missing alt text, untitled slides, or unreadable colour contrast.

8k tokens scripts
AI First Process Redesign
by microsoft
vendor

>- Facilitates a zero-based AI-first process redesign session that helps a team reimagine an existing work process as AI-first. Guides them through framing, idea expansion, current-state task map, a future-state swimlane blueprint tagging each step AI-owned / Hybrid / Human-led, an AI-Agents-&-Skills summary table, and a next-sprint capability backlog. Weighs the full range of AI building blocks — process change, knowledge, tools, reusable skills, agents, connected agents — instead of defaulting to an agent. Use when the user wants to redesign a process for AI, make a workflow AI-first, map which tasks AI should own, or find AI or agent opportunities in a process. It shows WHERE AI could help; it does NOT build or deploy the agents or skills themselves. Do NOT use to build a specific agent or skill, for a one-off automation with no process to rethink, or for employee performance evaluation.

9k tokens
AI Demo Assistant
by microsoft
vendor

| Builds a scenario-driven content pack for a Microsoft 365 Copilot customer demo. From a customer name, line of business, and target personas, it proposes demo scenarios for operator approval, then generates fictional Word/PowerPoint/Excel example files plus an AI Demo Delivery Plan (persona roster with tenant-account mapping, email and Teams chat scripts, calendar meetings with agendas, a meeting transcript, and app-tagged Copilot prompt workflows grounded in the generated content). After approval it can OPTIONALLY seed the Office files into a customer-named OneDrive folder and optionally post the Teams chat scripts live; email, calendar, and recordings are drafted for manual loading. Use when the user asks to "set up a Copilot demo", "build demo content for a customer", "seed a demo tenant", "create a demo delivery plan", "fill a demo tenant with realistic content", or "generate demo scenarios and sample files". Do NOT use for sending real email, booking real calendar events, or production-tenant data.

7k tokens
B2b Outreach Suite
by microsoft
vendor

by microsoft
vendor

Use this skill when the user asks to restructure, reorganise, improve, rewrite, tighten, or strengthen a blog post, article, newsletter, essay, or thought-leadership draft.

1k tokens
Brand Template Enforcer
by microsoft
vendor

>- Applies bundled or SharePoint-hosted organization-approved PowerPoint and Word templates whenever the agent is about to create, generate, export, or substantially rebuild a presentation, slide deck, report, proposal, brief, memo, letter, or other .pptx, .docx, or .dotx deliverable. Use before any file-generation tool or document-creation skill so the output starts from the appropriate brand template instead of a blank file. Do not use for read-only analysis or minor edits that do not create a new Office file.

11k tokens
Call For Speakers Digest
by microsoft
vendor

>- Weekly digest of open conference Call for Speakers (CFP) opportunities matching the person's topics of interest, delivered as an HTML email. Use this skill when someone asks to be notified about speaking opportunities, wants a recurring CFP digest, asks "what conferences are taking submissions right now", or wants to set up a weekly speaker opportunity search. Also use on the skill's own recurring weekly run to refresh the digest, and when the person wants to update their topics, location or format preferences, or exclude a conference they're already committed elsewhere for.

5k tokens

by microsoft
vendor

Turns vague or complex business requests (decisions, problems, projects, incidents, processes, ideas, documents, communications) into a clear outcome, an appropriately sized plan, and a verified result. Also assesses whether repeated work should become a reusable Skill and can draft that Skill package. Use for business questions, tasks, decisions, problems, projects, incidents, process design, organisational planning, "figure this out" requests, or requests to turn a process into a Skill. Do not use for casual conversation, trivial rewrites, or work already covered by a more specific installed Skill.

14k tokens
Brand Voice Pass
by microsoft
vendor

Use this skill when the user asks to rewrite, humanise, de-AI, polish, localise, or align draft text to a brand voice, house style, named audience, or writing profile.

1k tokens
Campaign Deck Builder
by microsoft
vendor

Use this skill whenever the user wants to create a marketing-campaign presentation, pitch deck, or launch deck for a brand. Ask the campaign questions, then run the bundled script to fill the template into a finished .pptx.

12k tokens scripts
Chart Builder
by microsoft
vendor

Use this skill whenever the user asks to visualize, chart, plot, or graph data (bar, line, scatter, histogram, pie) from a CSV, table, or DataFrame. It gives the agent prebuilt, parameterized matplotlib functions so charts are produced faster and more reliably — with consistent styling and sane defaults — instead of hand-writing matplotlib each time.

6k tokens scripts
Conditional Chat Reminder
by microsoft
vendor

Use this skill whenever a Scout user asks to schedule a Teams chat reminder or follow-up that should be sent only if a person has not already posted a relevant update after the request, including "remind them Thursday if there is no news," "follow up unless they reply," or "check the chat first and only nudge if needed." Use it before creating the Scout automation or sending any message.

2k tokens
Classic Text Adventure
by microsoft
vendor

Play and operate a deterministic, resumable Colossal Cave text adventure with verbatim game output and an OOC escape. Use when a user asks to start, continue, inspect, reset, or smoke-test the Classic Text Adventure; treat unprefixed messages as game commands while a session is active.

Claude Skills — questions

Answers built from the skills we actually parsed.

What is a Claude Skill?
A folder with a SKILL.md file: instructions that teach an agent to do one thing well, optionally with scripts and reference files alongside. The format is open and called Agent Skills — Claude Code, Codex and other agents read the same files. It is not a program you run; it is knowledge the agent loads when the task calls for it.
How is a skill different from an MCP server?
A server gives the agent new abilities — it connects to something and exposes tools. A skill gives the agent knowledge: how to use what it already has. They combine, and often literally: 11 329 of the skills here declare which MCP servers they need to work.
Why are there fewer skills here than in other catalogues?
Because we deduplicate by content. Of 79 354 files found on GitHub, 61 713 are unique — the rest is the same skill copied into someone else's repository, word for word. Catalogues that count files rather than skills show every copy as a separate entry.
What does the token count mean?
A skill is loaded into the model's context when it is used, so its size is a running cost on every request that touches it. We measure the whole folder, not just SKILL.md: one official skill is 377 tokens, another drags 83 files of fonts behind it.
How do I install a skill?
Copy the skill folder into ~/.claude/skills for personal use, or into .claude/skills inside a project. The agent picks it up by the name in the SKILL.md header — which is worth checking: 7 879 skills here share a name with another skill, and two of them cannot sit side by side.
