Claude Skills

The open format is called Agent Skills and works in Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other agents — most people know it as Claude Skills.

Every Agent Skill we could find on GitHub, deduplicated by content. 79 354 files from 1 739 authors, of which 61 713 are unique — the rest is the same skill repackaged into someone else's repository. For each one: what it weighs in tokens, whether it ships runnable scripts, and which MCP servers it needs.

All Deploy
by Hainrixz

> Deploys any web app, API, or agent to the internet with a strict pre-deploy audit and a preview → health-check → prod flow. Detects Next, Vite, Astro, Remix, Nuxt, SvelteKit, FastAPI, Flask, Express, MCP server, Claude Agent SDK script, Python worker, Dockerized, and static projects; routes to Vercel, Railway, Docker+SSH VPS, or cloudflared tunnel. Also supports a first-class "run locally" mode. At the start of each cloud deploy the skill asks the user whether to run full-auto (audit → preview → prod in one sequence) or step-by-step (confirm each phase); the user can skip that question by saying "auto" or "step by step" up front. Use when the user says "/all-deploy", "/deploy", "/despliega", "deploy this", "ship this", "push to prod", "get this online", "deploy my agent", "deploy my FastAPI", "run it locally", "corre esto localmente", "deploy auto", "deploy step by step", "paso a paso", "how do I put this on the internet", or otherwise asks to publish a project to a URL or run it locally.

Think Twice
by albertobarnabo

> cheaper way?" Triggers when the request involves generating data or fixtures (lists, datasets, sample records), implementing a problem that is likely already solved by a stdlib function, package, or public API (validation, parsing, lookups, auth, date/currency/geo data), or any implementation expected to exceed ~20 lines. Does NOT trigger when the user has explicitly chosen the approach or library, when the task is under ~10 lines, when fixing a bug in existing code, or for infra/terraform/k8s and DB queries. Run the checklist before writing code, stop at the first question that reveals a cheaper path, and take that path.

Surgical
by albertobarnabo

> Forces Claude to match output scope exactly to what was requested. Triggers on any bounded coding request — "fix X", "add Y", "write a function/script that Z" — at the moment of writing cases, tests, docstrings, type annotations, CLI flags, config options, one-time abstractions, or refactors of surrounding code. Does NOT trigger when error handling, tests, or validation are the explicit subject of the request, or when the user asked for a complete or production-ready implementation. The best code is code you didn't write.

Use this even when the user does not explicitly say 'GTM' — most CSV-with-leads tasks and most provider-driven enrichment tasks are GTM tasks. SKIP only when the request is a Clay table extraction (use clay-to-deepline) or has no Deepline / outbound / data-enrichment dimension at all.

Work With Design Systems
by natdexterra

> Inspect, build, or extend Figma design systems — and optionally sync them to component scoring, detached instance detection, handoff docs) and build mode (creating components with variable bindings, slot-based composition, structured descriptions, validation, and optional export of tokens.css + AI rules to the user's codebase). Use when the user says 'audit my design system', 'check component quality', 'create design system', 'build DS in Figma', 'generate component library', 'add slots to my components', 'sync design tokens from code', 'find detached instances', 'check WCAG compliance', 'export tokens to code', 'generate CLAUDE.md for design system', or wants to push a design system from code to Figma or back. The skill auto-detects the mode from request, or asks if unclear. After inspect, ALWAYS pauses and waits for explicit user decision before any build action. Phase 6 (sync to code) is OFF by default — only triggers on explicit user request. Does NOT implement Figma designs as code — use figma-implement-design for that. Does NOT create individual screens — use figma-generate-design for that.

Claude Skills — questions

Answers built from the skills we actually parsed.

What is a Claude Skill?
A folder with a SKILL.md file: instructions that teach an agent to do one thing well, optionally with scripts and reference files alongside. The format is open and called Agent Skills — Claude Code, Codex and other agents read the same files. It is not a program you run; it is knowledge the agent loads when the task calls for it.
How is a skill different from an MCP server?
A server gives the agent new abilities — it connects to something and exposes tools. A skill gives the agent knowledge: how to use what it already has. They combine, and often literally: 11 329 of the skills here declare which MCP servers they need to work.
Why are there fewer skills here than in other catalogues?
Because we deduplicate by content. Of 79 354 files found on GitHub, 61 713 are unique — the rest is the same skill copied into someone else's repository, word for word. Catalogues that count files rather than skills show every copy as a separate entry.
What does the token count mean?
A skill is loaded into the model's context when it is used, so its size is a running cost on every request that touches it. We measure the whole folder, not just SKILL.md: one official skill is 377 tokens, another drags 83 files of fonts behind it.
How do I install a skill?
Copy the skill folder into ~/.claude/skills for personal use, or into .claude/skills inside a project. The agent picks it up by the name in the SKILL.md header — which is worth checking: 7 879 skills here share a name with another skill, and two of them cannot sit side by side.
