Query affiliate program data from openaffiliate.dev in real-time. Persistent daemon

with in-memory cache — first call auto-starts the server, every subsequent call is instant.

SETUP (run this check BEFORE any affiliate-check command)

Environment

No environment variables required. The openaffiliate.dev API is fully public — no API key, no auth, no rate limits.

Architecture

Persistent Bun daemon on localhost (port 9500-9510)
In-memory cache with 5-minute TTL
State file: /tmp/affiliate-check.json
Auto-shutdown after 30 min idle
Server crash → auto-restarts on next command

How to use it

Copy the folder

Take affitor/affiliate-check from the repository into ~/.claude/skills for personal use, or into .claude/skills inside a project.

Check the name does not clash

The agent identifies a skill by the name field in its header. Two skills with the same name cannot sit side by side — one of them will be ignored.
