kisi_list_users
List users (members) of the organization. Filter by group or place (users with access there), email, or free text over name/email/notes. Sort by last unlock. GET /users.
kisi_search_events
Search the access log (unlocks, denied attempts, lockdowns, admin changes) and return the first page. This CREATES a temporary saved search in Kisi (an event set, cursor-paginated, kept ~24 h); it changes no door, user or access right. Defaults to the past 90 days, the maximum width. If status is still in_progress or cursor is set, call kisi_get_event_set with the returned id. POST /event_sets.

Kisi MCP by usefulapi — questions

Answers built from our own checks of this server.

What can Kisi MCP by usefulapi do?
It exposes 20 tools, read directly from the server on our last check. Among them: kisi_get_current_user, kisi_get_event_set, kisi_get_group, kisi_get_lock, kisi_get_organization, kisi_get_place and 14 more. The full list with descriptions is on this page — we take it from the server itself via tools/list, not from a README. How MCP servers expose tools in the first place →
Is Kisi MCP by usefulapi working right now?
We send a real MCP handshake every 15 minutes. Over the last 24 hours 91 of 91 checks got a reply (100.0%), average response time 116 ms. The bar chart above shows every period we have measured.
How do I connect Kisi MCP by usefulapi?
Copy the ready config from this page — we generate it for Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Codex, Cursor and VS Code, each with the file path that client actually reads. It is a remote server, so there is nothing to install — the client connects to the address.
Does Kisi MCP by usefulapi need an API key?
No. Kisi MCP by usefulapi completed a full MCP handshake with us as an anonymous client and listed its tools without asking for anything. All 20 of them are readable on this page. This is what we observed, not what the docs claim.
How fast is Kisi MCP by usefulapi?
It answers our handshake in 116 ms on average, which is faster than 79% of all working MCP servers we measure. That puts it in the quick quarter of the ecosystem. The comparison comes from our own checks across the whole registry, every 15 minutes.
Is Kisi MCP by usefulapi open source?
Yes — it is published under the MIT licence, written in JavaScript, 0 stars on GitHub and 1 open issue. The source link is on this page, so you can read exactly what it does with your data before you connect it.
