create_scout
Create a saved search (scout) from vehicle and filter criteria or a VIN pattern. Each request carries a creationRequestId from check_limits, so a matching retry returns the existing scout instead of a duplicate. Scouts check roughly every 24 hours and email a daily digest of new matches and price drops.
delete_scout
Delete one scout. This stops its daily checks and deletes its saved alerts.
get_scout
Read one of your scouts, including every search criterion and its latest update time.
update_scout
Change the supplied fields of one scout and keep the rest. This overwrites the supplied saved criteria and changes future marketplace checks and daily digests. vehicleIndex edits one saved vehicle, and vehicleCombinations replaces the full vehicle list. Filter objects change only the supplied includes or excludes. A stale expectedUpdatedAt returns a conflict and changes nothing.

Get dated aggregate asking prices, model-year recalls, and EPA fuel economy. Results include data freshness; unavailable values are null and unavailable lists are empty. Does not return listings or a vehicle appraisal.
