Nothing serious here today

Today is the operative word: we check Truvon every 15 minutes and re-read its code on every release. Watch it and you find out the day that stops being true.

Available tools 13

Read directly from the server with tools/list, grouped by what they act on. If a tool disappears, we record the date.

report
report_answer
Record what a business told you that its record lacks ("yes, certified kosher"): the question and its answer in its words, with the business's truvon_id.
report_missing
Report a business Truvon does not list (check_places_results says so) that fits your user's need and that you found elsewhere (the web, a map): send its name, its own website, phone, address and the town, with the need and the search_id. Its own website is queued to be read so it can be listed for every agent.
report_outcome
Record what happened when you acted for your user (booked, ordered, called, got a quote), with the search_id and the business's truvon_id. When something was arranged it returns a follow-up, questions for your user once the outcome is known, and for a job a job id.
answer
answer_follow_up
Record your user's answers to a follow-up's questions, by its follow_up id (from report_outcome, or a follow-up due at the top of a search), once the outcome is known. Closed options only, never personal details.
business
get_business_record
Get one business's full record by its truvon_id or website domain: each fact with its source and date, every source's value where they disagree, prices, offers, hours and every way to act. Open it for a finalist, and whenever a phone or address matters. A business Truvon does not list has no record.
connect
connect_truvon
Connect for reporting when your app has not signed in to Truvon itself: a link your user approves with one tap (no account), and a connection code the reporting tools then accept as their connection argument. Searching needs none of this.
field
get_field_history
Get every value one fact of a business (phone, hours, address, name) has held, with which source said it and when: how settled a value is.
job
get_job
Get the status of a job you arranged and the business's updates, by the job id report_outcome returned, when your user asks about it.
local
find_local_businesses
Find local businesses that fit a need near a place. Give the service in a few plain words ("furnace repair", "water heater leak"), not the user's sentence; timing goes in open_at. Each result says why it fits, how it meets each requirement you stated (yes, no or needs confirmation, with its source), its hours and whether it is open now, whether it is still in business, the phone, and how to act. 5 results by default; limit asks for more, and max_minutes keeps them close. Truvon has no reviews or ratings, and menus, prices and service details only where a business publishes them.
more
more_results
Get the next page of a search by the next_cursor it returned (kept 24 hours). Narrowing the need usually beats paging.
note
note_choice
Note the person's tap on a result's button in Truvon's results view, which calls it; agents never need to.
places
check_places_results
Check up to 10 businesses you found elsewhere (maps, web, a link) before you give your user a phone or send them somewhere: open or closed with dated evidence, the phone its sources agree on, how to act. To look up a business your user names, send its name and town alone; a phone, website or address as well makes the match surer. With the need, you also get two listed businesses that fit it that you did not send. One not found is reported as not in Truvon.
show
show_results
Show your user a search's results in one view with what you found on the web for each (a rating and where it comes from, the review count, a link, a one-line note). Optional, after find_local_businesses. Your additions are labeled as yours, never as Truvon's, and never change rank.

Truvon — questions

Answers built from our own checks of this server.

What can Truvon do?
It exposes 13 tools, read directly from the server on our last check. Among them: answer_follow_up, check_places_results, connect_truvon, find_local_businesses, get_business_record, get_field_history and 7 more. The full list with descriptions is on this page — we take it from the server itself via tools/list, not from a README. How MCP servers expose tools in the first place →
Is Truvon working right now?
We send a real MCP handshake every 15 minutes. Over the last 24 hours 92 of 92 checks got a reply (100.0%), average response time 554 ms. The bar chart above shows every period we have measured.
How do I connect Truvon?
Copy the ready config from this page. We generate it for Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Codex, Cursor and VS Code, each in the form that client actually reads. It is a remote server, so there is nothing to install — the client connects to the address.
Does Truvon need an API key?
No. Truvon completed a full MCP handshake with us as an anonymous client and listed its tools without asking for anything. All 13 of them are readable on this page. This is what we observed, not what the docs claim.
How fast is Truvon?
It answers our handshake in 554 ms on average, which is faster than 20% of all working MCP servers we measure. That is on the slow side — worth knowing if the tool sits inside an interactive loop. The comparison comes from our own checks across the whole registry, every 15 minutes.
