Read directly from the server with tools/list, grouped by what they act on. If a tool disappears, we record the date.

peptide
find_peptide_sources
Vendors that carry a peptide, tiered by PepEvolution COA audit status. `vendors` lists only vendors whose COAs are verified real, batch-matched, and from a named independent lab, ranked by Source Match (vendor grade × batch-COA freshness; ties resolve to the non-affiliate). `unaudited_vendors` publish COAs PepEvolution has not authenticated. Vendors with shared/recycled, fabricated, or no COAs are excluded and only counted. Strict name matching (e.g. BPC-157, TB-500, tirzepatide).
get_peptide_price
Research-vendor pricing from the PepEvolution price index: median/p25/p75 $/mg, vendor_count, last_scraped, and cite_url.
calculate
calculate_reconstitution
Reconstitution arithmetic: given vial size (mg), bacteriostatic water added (mL), and a dose, returns concentration, dose volume in mL, units on a U-100 insulin syringe, and doses per vial. Pure math; it does not judge whether a dose is appropriate.
compound
get_compound_grade
A peptide's PepScore grade: score, band, category, one-liner, last_graded, and cite_url.
dosing
get_dosing_guide
Doses used in published research for a peptide, each row with route, caveats, and citations, plus regulatory status, evidence summary, pharmacology, safety notes, and a worked reconstitution example. Educational research context, NOT a dosing recommendation or medical advice. Covers compounds with a /dosing page; others return matched compound with has_dosing_guide:false.
vendor
check_vendor
PepEvolution's independent audit of a research-peptide vendor: PepScore grade + band, COA status, audit summary, and buy link for graded vendors; the COA-audit record (status, risk flags) for vendors audited but not graded; or a clear "not evaluated". Strict matching: generic words like "peptides" or "labs" never match, and ambiguous names return candidates instead of a guess.
verified
list_verified_vendors
Every PepEvolution-graded research-peptide vendor, sorted by PepScore desc. On a score tie the non-affiliate ranks first. Each entry carries grade + band, COA status, buy link, coupon, and is_affiliate.

PepEvolution Peptide Sources — questions

Answers built from our own checks of this server.

What can PepEvolution Peptide Sources do?
It exposes 7 tools, read directly from the server on our last check. Among them: calculate_reconstitution, check_vendor, find_peptide_sources, get_compound_grade, get_dosing_guide, get_peptide_price and 1 more. The full list with descriptions is on this page — we take it from the server itself via tools/list, not from a README. How MCP servers expose tools in the first place →
Is PepEvolution Peptide Sources working right now?
We send a real MCP handshake every 15 minutes. Over the last 24 hours 91 of 91 checks got a reply (100.0%), average response time 178 ms. The bar chart above shows every period we have measured.
How do I connect PepEvolution Peptide Sources?
Copy the ready config from this page. We generate it for Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Codex, Cursor and VS Code, each in the form that client actually reads. It is a remote server, so there is nothing to install — the client connects to the address.
Does PepEvolution Peptide Sources need an API key?
No. PepEvolution Peptide Sources completed a full MCP handshake with us as an anonymous client and listed its tools without asking for anything. All 7 of them are readable on this page. This is what we observed, not what the docs claim.
How fast is PepEvolution Peptide Sources?
It answers our handshake in 178 ms on average, which is faster than 77% of all working MCP servers we measure. That puts it in the quick quarter of the ecosystem. The comparison comes from our own checks across the whole registry, every 15 minutes.
