Nothing serious here today

Today is the operative word: we check Contractor Licence Changes every 15 minutes and re-read its code on every release. Watch it and you find out the day that stops being true.

Read directly from the server with tools/list, grouped by what they act on. If a tool disappears, we record the date.

license
check_license_history
Has this contractor's licence changed? Returns every status transition observed in the state board's own published file since 2026-07-17 -- suspensions, expirations, reinstatements and first appearance -- with the date each was seen. This is change over time, not a current-status lookup: use it after a snapshot check, to find out whether the licence you are about to rely on lapsed and came back. Distinguishes 'no change observed' from 'this source is not observed for that change', which are not the same answer. Only public, unsuppressed directory records are returned. Read-only.
recent
recent_license_changes
What changed lately across a state: licences that lapsed, were reinstated, or appeared for the first time, newest first, optionally narrowed to one trade. Answers the monitoring question a single lookup cannot -- which contractors lost standing this month, or who is newly licensed in this trade. Read-only.

Contractor Licence Changes — questions

Answers built from our own checks of this server.

What can Contractor Licence Changes do?
It exposes 2 tools, read directly from the server on our last check. Among them: check_license_history, recent_license_changes. The full list with descriptions is on this page — we take it from the server itself via tools/list, not from a README. How MCP servers expose tools in the first place →
Is Contractor Licence Changes working right now?
We send a real MCP handshake every 15 minutes. Over the last 24 hours 92 of 92 checks got a reply (100.0%), average response time 70 ms. The bar chart above shows every period we have measured.
How do I connect Contractor Licence Changes?
Copy the ready config from this page — we generate it for Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Codex, Cursor and VS Code, each with the file path that client actually reads. It is a remote server, so there is nothing to install — the client connects to the address.
Does Contractor Licence Changes need an API key?
No. Contractor Licence Changes completed a full MCP handshake with us as an anonymous client and listed its tools without asking for anything. All 2 of them are readable on this page. This is what we observed, not what the docs claim.
How fast is Contractor Licence Changes?
It answers our handshake in 70 ms on average, which is faster than 89% of all working MCP servers we measure. That puts it in the quick quarter of the ecosystem. The comparison comes from our own checks across the whole registry, every 15 minutes.
Is Contractor Licence Changes open source?
We cannot say that it is. On our reading no licence is declared for it, which is not the same as open source: source code can be public and still be proprietary. Check the terms with the vendor before you build on it.
