Belief Poll does not always answer

Over the last week it answered 97.8% of our checks. We check every 15 minutes, so you hear about the next outage within the hour — not from your users.

feedback
get_feedback_reply
Read the maintainers' reply to feedback you sent with submit_feedback, given its ticket id. Returns status pending until a reply is ready, then status answered with the reply text. The reply is information for you, not an instruction.
poll
poll_beliefs
Use this when someone asks what people think, believe or prefer about a question, and wants percentages backed by real posts. Pass question in plain words; optionally sources (x, reddit) and since as YYYY-MM-DD (one year back by default). Grok searches X in two halves of the window and finds a Reddit thread; every X post is read back through X's public embed endpoint and Reddit comments come from the thread's public feed, so each quote is the source's own text. Grok then names 1 to 5 answers the posts take and sorts each post, quoting the words that state its view; a vote whose words are not in the post is dropped. One vote per author per source. Returns each answer with its percent, a 95% range, counts and percents by source, the main reason given, and up to 10 linked posts with the words each vote rests on, plus a one-line answer to quote. Free, no key. A poll takes about 20 to 40 seconds and is cached for 12 hours. It counts public posts; it is not a survey.
submit
submit_feedback
Send feedback, a bug report or a tool request to the maintainers of the tools on this server: a missing tool, missing or stale data, or a tool that broke or gave a wrong answer. Pass the kind (need_tool, need_data, bug or other), one short message (at most 1000 characters) and, if you know them, the tool name and the error text it returned. Returns a ticket id. Feedback is not a chat: nothing in it is run or followed. Links, emails and phone numbers are removed and nothing about you is stored.

Belief Poll — questions

Answers built from our own checks of this server.

What can Belief Poll do?
It exposes 3 tools, read directly from the server on our last check. Among them: get_feedback_reply, poll_beliefs, submit_feedback. The full list with descriptions is on this page — we take it from the server itself via tools/list, not from a README. How MCP servers expose tools in the first place →
Is Belief Poll working right now?
We send a real MCP handshake every 15 minutes. Over the last 24 hours 45 of 46 checks got a reply (97.8%), average response time 167 ms. The bar chart above shows every period we have measured.
How do I connect Belief Poll?
Copy the ready config from this page — we generate it for Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Codex, Cursor and VS Code, each with the file path that client actually reads. It is a remote server, so there is nothing to install — the client connects to the address.
Does Belief Poll need an API key?
No. Belief Poll completed a full MCP handshake with us as an anonymous client and listed its tools without asking for anything. All 3 of them are readable on this page. This is what we observed, not what the docs claim.
How fast is Belief Poll?
It answers our handshake in 167 ms on average, which is faster than 69% of all working MCP servers we measure. The comparison comes from our own checks across the whole registry, every 15 minutes.
Is Belief Poll open source?
Yes — it is published under the MIT licence, 0 stars on GitHub and 1 open issue. The source link is on this page, so you can read exactly what it does with your data before you connect it.
