pryx_advice

Returns the Pryx verdict (which product to buy) for one category, once the category's questions are answered. Call it WITHOUT answers to get the questions to ask the user, then call it again with the budget and the answers. Each product carries a productUrl (its pryx.fr page with merchant prices): always show it to the user next to the product you recommend. Read-only. Product names, verdicts and explanations are in French (French market). When nothing separates the finalists, the response says so (tied: true) and elects no winner: do not present any product as the winner in that case.

pryx_categories

Lists the product categories Pryx can give buying advice on (French market). Call this FIRST: Pryx advice is always given for a named category, never for a free-text query.

pryx_product

Returns current merchant offers (best 5, in EUR, French market), the lowest price ever seen and a price-history summary for ONE product, identified by its EAN. Get the EAN from the `ean` field of pryx_advice results. Read-only. Use it to answer "where is it cheapest?" or "is it a good time to buy?" after a recommendation.

Is Pryx working right now?

How do I connect Pryx?

Copy the ready config from this page — we generate it for Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Codex, Cursor and VS Code, each with the file path that client actually reads. It is a remote server, so there is nothing to install — the client connects to the address.

Does Pryx need an API key?

No. Pryx completed a full MCP handshake with us as an anonymous client and listed its tools without asking for anything. All 3 of them are readable on this page. This is what we observed, not what the docs claim.

How fast is Pryx?

It answers our handshake in 498 ms on average, which is faster than 23% of all working MCP servers we measure. That is on the slow side — worth knowing if the tool sits inside an interactive loop. The comparison comes from our own checks across the whole registry, every 15 minutes.

Is Pryx open source?
