Create one persistent Flowboard architecture diagram after calling list_shapes and list_diagrams, then reuse its ID with patch_diagram or update_diagram instead of making test copies. Any node may contain any other node; indentation expresses grouping, not infrastructure policy. Markdown nodes look like '- API {#api type=pod x=100 y=100}'. Flows belong under ## Flows. Read an immutable model revision for comparison or recovery. To restore, review the current head, set this snapshot's version to current+1, and save with the current expected_version.

Supported ops: set_title, auto_layout, add/update/delete_node, add/update/delete_flow, and add/update/delete_note. update operations use id plus a changes object. Save an explicit observation, workaround outcome, or product improvement idea for later Flowboard review. Proactively use this when an editing task exposes actionable friction. Does not modify the diagram. Personal reports are private to the submitting account and the server-wide agent credential. Agent identity is self-reported. The running server stamps the build version and commit automatically.

validate

validate_diagram

Check broken flows, missing/cyclic parents, children outside parent bounds, overlapping sibling or top-level nodes, pipelines crossing unrelated resources, orphaned nodes, and optional company policy rules. Layout findings include exact coordinates and a patch_diagram-compatible suggested_fix so an agent can correct placement without asking a person which direction to move something. Rerun validation after applying fixes. Returns findings without changing the diagram; mutation responses include findings and computed_bounds.
