FareDice missed one check this week

Everything else answered, so this is steady rather than shaky. We check every 15 minutes, which is how a one-off gets told apart from the start of a pattern, and how you hear about the next one within the hour instead of from your users.

Read directly from the server with tools/list, grouped by what they act on. If a tool disappears, we record the date.

nonstop
nonstop_fares
The cheapest one-way fare seen on each day of the next three months or so from one city to another in Europe or Southeast Asia (non-stop flights), or on a long flight between a big airport outside the region and one of its cities (any stops): each day's price, its age and airline (and, when known, when the flight leaves and lands, local time), the cheapest by month, the airlines with how many days they fly it and their cabin bag rule, the cheapest the other way, and a link to the route's page on faredice.com.
nonstop_from
Every city one city in Europe or Southeast Asia flies to non-stop over the next three months or so (or that a big airport outside the region flies to, any stops), cheapest first: each with its cheapest fare, the day, its age and airline, how many days have fares and the airlines, and links to each route's page on faredice.com.
edit
edit_trip
Change one stop of a FareDice trip and re-chain the rest: night_more or night_less there (the flights after it move a day), night_from_next or night_to_next (a night moved from or to the next stop; the trip's end holds), add_stop (a place after it, with city; without city, the places that fit, each with its change and link) or drop_stop (the stop left out). Returns the new trip as get_trip does, with how much the flights change, how far the end moves and any airport it changes (airports_change). Without change, every change the stop can take, each with its link. 20 calls a day per caller (UTC) of find_trips, get_trip, swap_stop and edit_trip are free; after that each costs US$0.01, paid with x402 (USDC on Base). nonstop_fares and nonstop_from are always free.
swap
swap_stop
Other places for one stop of a FareDice trip on the same days, keeping the rest of the trip: each with how much the trip's flights change and its link, cheapest first. With city, that change made: the new trip, as get_trip returns it. Places already in the trip, and countries it already visits or (with the link's passports) needs a visa for, are left out. 20 calls a day per caller (UTC) of find_trips, get_trip, swap_stop and edit_trip are free; after that each costs US$0.01, paid with x402 (USDC on Base). nonstop_fares and nonstop_from are always free.
trip
get_trip
The trip a FareDice trip link names, as find_trips returns one: its flights with fares, their ages, times where known and cabin-bag notes, nights in each place and the total, with its home hops when it starts from a home airport. A trip whose fares have gone says so and gives the nearest days the same places all have fares again, or none. 20 calls a day per caller (UTC) of find_trips, get_trip, swap_stop and edit_trip are free; after that each costs US$0.01, paid with x402 (USDC on Base). nonstop_fares and nonstop_from are always free.
trips
find_trips
Finds cheap trips through several cities and countries in Europe or Southeast Asia, strung from non-stop one-way fares seen in the last few days: you give a start city (or a home airport outside the region: the trip then starts with a flight from the nearest big airport we have fares from), a window for the first flight, how many places and nights in each, and a flight budget, and optionally the kinds of place (beaches, islands, capitals ...), countries to keep to or skip and cities per country; it picks the cities. Returns the cheapest three trips, each with its flights, fare ages, cabin-bag notes and a link to the trip on faredice.com. 20 calls a day per caller (UTC) of find_trips, get_trip, swap_stop and edit_trip are free; after that each costs US$0.01, paid with x402 (USDC on Base). nonstop_fares and nonstop_from are always free.

FareDice — questions

Answers built from our own checks of this server.

What can FareDice do?
It exposes 6 tools, read directly from the server on our last check. Among them: edit_trip, find_trips, get_trip, nonstop_fares, nonstop_from, swap_stop. The full list with descriptions is on this page — we take it from the server itself via tools/list, not from a README. How MCP servers expose tools in the first place →
Is FareDice working right now?
We send a real MCP handshake every 15 minutes. Over the last 24 hours 91 of 91 checks got a reply (100.0%), average response time 279 ms. The bar chart above shows every period we have measured.
How do I connect FareDice?
Copy the ready config from this page. We generate it for Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Codex, Cursor and VS Code, each in the form that client actually reads. It is a remote server, so there is nothing to install — the client connects to the address.
Does FareDice need an API key?
No. FareDice completed a full MCP handshake with us as an anonymous client and listed its tools without asking for anything. All 6 of them are readable on this page. This is what we observed, not what the docs claim.
How fast is FareDice?
It answers our handshake in 279 ms on average, which is faster than 51% of all working MCP servers we measure. The comparison comes from our own checks across the whole registry, every 15 minutes.
