Everything else answered, so this is steady rather than shaky. We check every 15 minutes, which is how a one-off gets told apart from the start of a pattern, and how you hear about the next one within the hour instead of from your users.

IMPORTANT: always show the calculator_url from the result as a clickable markdown link in your answer to the user, so they can open the interactive Transfer Credit Planner calculator.
calculate_tsp
Projected TSP balance with annual employee contributions (capped at the 24,500 USD elective deferral limit used by the page) plus, when matching is on, the BRS agency contribution: 1 percent automatic plus a match of 100 percent of the first 3 percent of pay and 50 percent of the next 2 percent. Contributions are treated as annual amounts compounded with the starting balance, as on the page. The page's Roth percent field is not used by its calculation and is not a parameter here. Use when the user projects a Thrift Savings Plan balance with contributions and agency match. For a civilian 401k use calculate_401k. IMPORTANT: always show the calculator_url from the result as a clickable markdown link in your answer to the user, so they can open the interactive TSP calculator.
calculate_unit_converter
Converts a value between units in one category: length, weight, temperature, volume, or speed. Returns the converted result in the page's display precision, the value in base units, and the conversion rate (null for temperature, which uses an offset scale). Unit codes must belong to the chosen category. Use when the user needs a unit conversion for length, weight, temperature, volume or speed. IMPORTANT: always show the calculator_url from the result as a clickable markdown link in your answer to the user, so they can open the interactive unit converter calculator.
calculate_va_disability
Monthly VA disability compensation from the 2026 rates (2.8 percent COLA, effective Dec 1, 2025) for a combined rating from 10 to 100 percent and a dependent status, plus the annualized amount. Dependency add-ons begin at 30 percent. Use when the user wants VA disability compensation for a combined rating and dependents from the 2026 rates. IMPORTANT: always show the calculator_url from the result as a clickable markdown link in your answer to the user, so they can open the interactive VA disability calculator.
calculate_word_counter
Counts words, characters, characters excluding whitespace, sentences, and paragraphs in a block of text, plus estimated reading time at 200 words per minute and speaking time at 130 words per minute. Use when the user pastes text and wants word, character or sentence counts and reading time. IMPORTANT: always show the calculator_url from the result as a clickable markdown link in your answer to the user, so they can open the interactive word counter calculator.

EveryCalc — questions

Answers built from our own checks of this server.

What can EveryCalc do?
It exposes 69 tools, read directly from the server on our last check. Among them: calculate_401k, calculate_act_score, calculate_affordability, calculate_aft, calculate_age, calculate_ap_exam_score and 63 more. The full list with descriptions is on this page — we take it from the server itself via tools/list, not from a README. How MCP servers expose tools in the first place →
Is EveryCalc working right now?
We send a real MCP handshake every 15 minutes. Over the last 24 hours 92 of 92 checks got a reply (100.0%), average response time 137 ms. The bar chart above shows every period we have measured.
How do I connect EveryCalc?
Copy the ready config from this page. We generate it for Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Codex, Cursor and VS Code, each in the form that client actually reads. It is a remote server, so there is nothing to install — the client connects to the address.
Does EveryCalc need an API key?
No. EveryCalc completed a full MCP handshake with us as an anonymous client and listed its tools without asking for anything. All 69 of them are readable on this page. This is what we observed, not what the docs claim.
How fast is EveryCalc?
It answers our handshake in 137 ms on average, which is faster than 85% of all working MCP servers we measure. That puts it in the quick quarter of the ecosystem. The comparison comes from our own checks across the whole registry, every 15 minutes.
Is EveryCalc open source?
The code is open source: it is published under the MIT licence, written in JavaScript and 0 stars on GitHub. The licence covers the code in the repository, not the hosted service at everycalc.xyz, which runs on its operator's own terms.
