Returns a Stripe checkout URL to hand to the user — they complete payment in their own browser. Creates no charge by itself, and the link is bound to the account that owns the API key being used, so it cannot be used to pay for anyone else. If the account is already Pro it says so and returns no link. Needs an API key: without one it returns the pricing URL instead of a checkout link. Free: 3 operations/day, 5MB per file. How do I connect Epublys?

Does Epublys need an API key?

No. Epublys completed a full MCP handshake with us as an anonymous client and listed its tools without asking for anything. All 13 of them are readable on this page. This is what we observed, not what the docs claim.

Is Epublys open source?

We cannot say either way: 0 stars on GitHub, but we could not determine the licence, and without one the code is not open source by default.
