Capabilities

What this server is able to do. For an MCP server this is often the job itself — a terminal server runs commands because that is what it is for. Listed so you know what you are plugging in, not as an accusation.

Builds a database query by concatenation internal/store/offers.go:87
    query := offerSelect + clause + " ORDER BY created_at, id LIMIT ? OFFSET ?"
    args = append(args, limit, q.Offset)
In the project's build, not in the package

Found in continuous integration, deployment or infrastructure files, or in a neighbouring package of the same monorepo. None of this is installed when you add the server: it describes how the project is built and released. We list it because a leaked key in a build pipeline is still a real problem, but it is not something this server does on your machine.

This code can reach further than it looks

We found places where it runs commands, builds paths or queries from values it is given. None of that is a flaw by itself — it becomes one when the code changes, and code changes quietly between releases. We re-read it on every one.

Available tools 7

Read directly from the server with tools/list, grouped by what they act on. If a tool disappears, we record the date.

vtessera
vtessera_get_agent
Read an agent's published card and marketplace status, as the agent declared it. The agent id is its Ed25519 public key.
vtessera_get_capability_report
Read the marketplace's most recent signed capability probe of an agent, which records whether it answered when checked. Fails with NOT_PROBED when the agent has never been probed.
vtessera_get_card_attestation
Check who vouched for an agent's card: report the marketplace's and the agent's own signatures over it, answered separately.
vtessera_get_offer
Read one offer by id, including its price and whether it is still open.
vtessera_health
Check whether the vtessera marketplace is up, read its verification key, and see whether it is a sandbox where no real value can move. Call this before relying on any other answer.
vtessera_route_intent
Route a capability request to the agent the marketplace chooses and learn what it charges. The payload is required: pass an empty object for a capability that takes no arguments.
vtessera_search_offers
Search open offers (agent services and skills) by capability, currency, settlement mode, direction or free text. Use this to find an agent that can perform a task.

Vtessera — questions

Answers built from our own checks of this server.

What can Vtessera do?
It exposes 7 tools, read directly from the server on our last check. Among them: vtessera_get_agent, vtessera_get_capability_report, vtessera_get_card_attestation, vtessera_get_offer, vtessera_health, vtessera_route_intent and 1 more. The full list with descriptions is on this page — we take it from the server itself via tools/list, not from a README. How MCP servers expose tools in the first place →
Is Vtessera working right now?
We send a real MCP handshake every 15 minutes. Over the last 24 hours 92 of 92 checks got a reply (100.0%), average response time 192 ms. The bar chart above shows every period we have measured.
How do I connect Vtessera?
Copy the ready config from this page — we generate it for Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Codex, Cursor and VS Code, each with the file path that client actually reads. It is a remote server, so there is nothing to install — the client connects to the address.
Does Vtessera need an API key?
No. Vtessera completed a full MCP handshake with us as an anonymous client and listed its tools without asking for anything. All 7 of them are readable on this page. This is what we observed, not what the docs claim.
How fast is Vtessera?
It answers our handshake in 192 ms on average, which is faster than 64% of all working MCP servers we measure. The comparison comes from our own checks across the whole registry, every 15 minutes.
Is Vtessera open source?
We cannot say either way: written in Go, 0 stars on GitHub and 2 open issues, but we could not determine the licence, and without one the code is not open source by default.
