Nothing serious here today

Today is the operative word: we check CourtlyGo every 15 minutes and re-read its code on every release. Watch it and you find out the day that stops being true.

Available tools 3

Read directly from the server with tools/list, grouped by what they act on. If a tool disappears, we record the date.

court
get_court
Get the details of one court venue by its id from search_courts: courts per sport, surface, lighting, access, fee, website, opening hours, OpenStreetMap links, source, data date and caveats.
courts
search_courts
Search mapped tennis, pickleball and padel courts in a covered city or metro area, or around a point. Pass 'city' (e.g. 'Austin, TX', 'Lisbon', 'Los Angeles area'; add 'country' if the name is ambiguous) or 'lat'+'lon' (+'radius_km'). Optional filters: sport, setting (outdoor or indoor), lit, open_to_public, free (mapped as no fee), min_courts. Each result is a venue with the number of courts ('courts' is the total at the venue, 'matched_sport_courts' the number for the requested sport), lighting, surface, access, the nearest park or street ('near'), a map link and the source. Results list courts open to the public first and clubs last; check each result's open_to_public, access_note and 'near'. 'unknown' means not mapped. If fewer than 3 courts match and others were left out only because a property is unmapped, they are added and marked 'matched_unknown'. If no court of the requested sport is mapped, the nearest tennis courts are returned in 'alternatives' (tennis, not the sport asked for). A place that is not covered returns an error; list_coverage shows the covered places. Mapped facts only: no bookings or live availability. Data comes from OpenStreetMap (ODbL), is often incomplete, and every answer carries the data date and attribution.
coverage
list_coverage
List the covered cities and metro areas with the number of venues in each, grouped by country. It does not list courts: to find courts, call search_courts with city=<a name from this list>. Pass 'country' (e.g. 'Spain') to list one country; 'detail'=true adds per-city counts by sport (larger answer). The counts are mapped venues, not a quality measure.

CourtlyGo — questions

Answers built from our own checks of this server.

What can CourtlyGo do?
It exposes 3 tools, read directly from the server on our last check. Among them: get_court, list_coverage, search_courts. The full list with descriptions is on this page — we take it from the server itself via tools/list, not from a README. How MCP servers expose tools in the first place →
Is CourtlyGo working right now?
We send a real MCP handshake every 15 minutes. Over the last 24 hours 91 of 91 checks got a reply (100.0%), average response time 651 ms. The bar chart above shows every period we have measured.
How do I connect CourtlyGo?
Copy the ready config from this page. We generate it for Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Codex, Cursor and VS Code, each in the form that client actually reads. It is a remote server, so there is nothing to install — the client connects to the address.
Does CourtlyGo need an API key?
No. CourtlyGo completed a full MCP handshake with us as an anonymous client and listed its tools without asking for anything. All 3 of them are readable on this page. This is what we observed, not what the docs claim.
How fast is CourtlyGo?
It answers our handshake in 651 ms on average, which is faster than 15% of all working MCP servers we measure. That is on the slow side — worth knowing if the tool sits inside an interactive loop. The comparison comes from our own checks across the whole registry, every 15 minutes.
